ACRYLSEAL - Water Based Acrylic Sealer Penetrates Cured Concrete Hardening & Sealing Surfaces
ACRYSEAL is an economical clear acrylic based polymer product designed to penetrate the surface of cured concrete, mortar, mud bricks and other masonry to harden and seal. Suitable for internal and external applications due to excellent UV light resistance and weathering abilities.
ADVANTAGES:
Penetrates and densifies the substrate surface. Minimises dusting and creates a hard wearing surface. One coat leaves no residual film. Treated surfaces may be coated with adhesives or other finishes. Quick and easy to apply.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The surface to be treated shall be clean, unpainted and be free of oil, grease, and foreign matter to ensure maximum penetration. The surface shall be dry, small variations of dampness are acceptable but may reduce the penetration of ACRYLSEAL.
APPLICATION
CONCRETE AND MASONRY SURFACES
Apply a flood coat and spread with soft broom, brush, roller or lambs wool applicator, maintaining a wet edge. Reapply immediately to the more absorbent areas. Remove excess product within 30 minutes. Generally only one coat application is required, depending on absorption characteristics. Allow approximately 5 square metres per litre.
MUD BRICKS
Apply a flood coat to wall surface starting from the top and allow the sealer to run down the wall and absorb for best results. Reapply to the more porous areas. CAUTION: Avoid application in cold or damp conditions (below 8o c). Avoid application externally if rain or overnight dew is imminent. Avoid application to hot or heated surfaces (eg: direct sunlight on hot days). Avoid ponding or full immersion for at least 24 hours(at 25o c).
CLEAN UP:
Do not allow brooms, rollers or brushes to dry out. Wash immediately after use in warm soapy water.
FLOOR CARE :
Wash floor with warm, soapy water. A household brand vinyl floor polish may be applied over ACRYLSEAL treatment if desired.
FIRST AID :
If swallowed do not induce vomiting, give water (or milk) to rinse mouth and drink.
Eyes - hold eyes open and wash with running water continuously for at least 15 minutes.
Skin - may irritate the skin. Remove contaminated clothing - wash with water/and soap if available.
