Dimacoat WB Epoxy - Floor coating & vapour barrier
DIMACOAT is a highly abrasive and chemical resistant water based epoxy coating suitable for walls and floors. DIMACOAT has been formulated to allow High Build coatings where a low odour product is required. It is most suitable for areas where intense and rigorous cleaning methods are required. It can be used for Warehouses, Parking Stations, Garages, Food Preparation Areas and to coat Steel Work subject to chemical attack. If used externally or in high UV conditions, it is recommended that a UV stable material be placed over.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
DIMACOAT is sensitive to rain in the first 4 - 6 hours. Surfaces must be free of grease, oil, dirt, dust or any other contaminates. If the concrete surface is smooth, acid etch using a 1:10 Hydrochloric acid with water. Broom on surface, leave for 10 minutes then neutralise with soda ash, broom into the surface. Hose off with copious amounts of water. Absorbent substrates should be dampened with water before application or add water to first coat as a primer if required.
MIXING
Premix part A with Part B using a slow speed drill and spiral-mixing paddle for no less than three (3) minutes to ensure a homogeneous mix. Depending on the absorbency of the surface, DIMACOAT can be diluted by up to 10% with water ONLY after Part A and Part B has been thoroughly mixed. Second and eventually third coats should be applied undiluted or diluted once preceding coats have dried.

Clear Epoxy 3 (PART B) : 1 (PART A) by volume

APPLICATION SOLIDS
CLEAR EPOXY - 24 – 26%
CURE TIME
Application temperature Min. 10°C Max 30°C. Allow 8 hrs at 25°C between coats. Fully cured after 7 Days at 25ºC.
POT LIFE - 45Mins at 20°C.
CLEANING
Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use or whenever there is a break of more than 30 minutes.
SHELF LIFE:
Unmixed components of DIMACOAT can be stored in original pack for at least 12 months if kept air tight, closed and stored at moderate temperature.
