Contec Plug when mixed with water to a putty consistency can be used to stop the seepage or flow of water through cracks or holes in concrete. Contec Plug sets in a short period of time to a completely waterproof seal and continues to harden until its strength exceeds that of the concrete being repaired.

Contec Plug contains no metals, calcium chloride or other corrosive ingredients.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

Remove all unsound concrete from the area to be treated. Form a chase in the concrete in the area of the leak or along the line of a crack. Chase a minimum depth of 30mm. The width no greater than the depth. Apply mixed Contec Plug by hand to the prepared chase and hold firmly in position until the mortar is sufficiently hardened to remain in place. In the case of a crack, progress with the application in sections leaving the most serious area until the last. For repairs against high water pressures a plastic bleed hose may be used to allow the repair to harden. When hard remove the hose and repair the small hole.

MIXING DIRECTIONS

Thoroughly mix approximately 2 parts of Contec Plug with 1 part clean water using small quantities at a time as the product is unusable after setting takes place. Adjust water to give a putty like consistency.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. Wear rubber gloves.

FIRST AID

If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting, give a glass of water. If skin contact occurs remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with waster for at least 15 minutes and contact a doctor.
